Piecing together the Modern Data Stack – Lisbon 16/8/2022

16 August 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

During the Snowflake summit this year, LEIT DATA had an afterparty to celebrate winning the Snowflake EMEA SI Partner of the Year.

At this event, we had a panel of Industry Experts that provided insight into the current trends in the Data World.

The mix of Passion, Knowledge, and experience around data with a dash of Drinks and Nibbles provided the perfect recipe for an event with Knowledgeable, Insightful, Entertaining and the appropriate amount of fun.

The recent focus on the ‘Modern Data Stack’ and observations of what challenges companies have had when ‘Piecing Together the MDS’. The main areas that have been hot topics on LinkedIn and what Chris Tabb has established from the Data Streets has been:-

👉The lost art of Data Modelling that made Chris Tabb start the #bringbackdatamodelling or #BBDM movement
👉Adopt FinOps or go Bust. Introduce Accountability of Spend
👉Observability ‘aka’ good old-fashioned Audit, Logging and Monitoring (ALM) BUT now for DATA with a shiny name.

We wanted to use the same successful recipe we had at the ‘Piecing together the Modern Data Stack’ afterparty and take it to Europe, and in Lisbon on the 16th August at 19:00.

We will be providing Drinks, Food and some great discussions and debates, and some will also focus on today’s data challenges, providing valuable insight to the Data Consumers.

The speaker will be our very own Chris Tabb with our Hosts from MANTA that share the same views on the value of data modelling.

Thanks to Jan UlrychClaudia Moreira LeitãoTomas Kratky and Cydni Weiner from  that helped to make this happen
